Nikki Dee Hendrix entered eternal life on June 25, 2011 unexpectedly. Nikki was born February 17, 1976 in Ithaca, NY.  She was a 1995 graduate of Charles O. Dickerson High School in Trumansburg, NY where she was an active member of the SADD club and color guard. Throughout Middle School and High School her passion for Color Guard grew. During Nikki's senior year color guard had an undefeated season and advanced to the World Class, winning the Mid York Championship. Nikki was a graduate of Tompkins Cortland Community College and attended Pennsylvania College of Technology. She was an avid animal lover and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

 She is survived by her loving mother Debbie Hendrix of Ithaca; her sister BJ (Joe ) Nelson of Freeville; Uncle Dane (Carol) Hendrix of Trumansburg; Aunt Diane (Joe ) Collazo of Madison CT; two nephews;  several loving cousins, and her 3 cats which were her pride and joy.

She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Don and Dee Hendrix and her maternal great-grandparents Nick and Ruth Torre.

There will be a celebration of Nikki's life on August 13th at 3:00 pm on the North Side of Taughannock Falls State Park.  Friends and Family are welcome to join in the celebration of Nikki's life.
