Pamela F. LeBaron of 3998 Halls Corners Road,
Interlaken passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at
the age of 55.
Born on January 26, 1954 in North Tonawanda, Pam was the daughter of the late
Leonard and Edna (Greene) LeBaron. She graduated from Ithaca High School in 1972
and two weeks after graduation joined the US Army. While serving in the Army,
Pam was able to travel the world and even had the opportunity to bowl at a
tournament in Greece. She was honorably discharged on December 5, 1979.
Pam worked at Briar Patch Veterinary in Ithaca as a receptionist for many years.
While working at Briar Patch, her love for animals was shared with those around
her. Pam’s cats have always held a special place in her heart. For years her
hobbies were league bowling and needlework. The scarves and afghans that Pamela
crocheted and knitted were cherished by many of her friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Patricia Preston. She is
survived by her partner of 26 years, Patricia Keller of Interlaken; a niece,
Connie Renee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as Chevy and Chase
her cats.
In keeping with Pam’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be private
at Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira.
