Marilyn L. Green, McCarty, Lee, age 88 of Cayutaville, NY,  passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NY City.  She was born in Ithaca, NY on February 12, 1921 and is daughter of the late Pauline and Dwight Sherwood.  She was a life time resident of Cayutaville, a graduate of Odessa High School, and was an active member of Cayutaville Methodist Church. Retired from Cornell Dining.

Marilyn was predeceased by her husbands Carl Green, Marcus McCarty and James Lee, and son Gary McCarty.   She is survived by sons John (Elizabeth) Green of Shrewsbury, PA, Miles (Eillean) McCarty of Freeville, NY; daughters Barbara (George) Mashanic of Elmira Heights, NY, Janet (Larry) Brown of Gilbert, AZ, and Linda (Ray) Lanning of Cayutaville, NY; three step- children Walter (Elenor) Lee, Lester (Carol) Lee, Becky (Dave) Vrooman, all reside in PA; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Marilyn will be held at Cayutaville Methodist Church on Saturday, May 23rd at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Cayutaville Methodist Church, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or Schuyler County Humane Society (Montour Falls, NY).
