Lois A. Seymour of Interlaken, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Hillcrest Home in Harrison, Arkansas, at the age of 87.
Born on July 19, 1921, Lois was the daughter of the late Floyd and Eva (Personius) Heath, Sr. Throughout her life Lois harbored a deep-seated faith. She was a dedicated mother, selflessly nurturing her children with an unconditional love and by example, instilled sound moral values. Playing the piano and listening to music provided Lois with peace, enjoyment and relaxation. She enjoyed the many friendships created while working as a clerk at Cornell University prior to her retirement in July of 1987.
Lois is survived by her son, Robert (Elizabeth) Seymour of Interlaken; two daughters, Carolyn (James) Chase of Harrison, Arkansas and EvaJean (John) Loveless of Viroqua, Wisconsin; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Floyd Heath Jr., Lloyd Heath, Claude Heath, Fay Heath, and Roger Heath; and three sisters, Ethyl Buckley, Dorothy Robinson, and Esther Parker.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 20, 2009, at 12:30 p.m. in the Cooper Cemetery, Brooktondale with the Rev. David Fraher officiating.
