Angelina M.H. Dunbar

Angelina Marie Hope Dunbar of Trumansburg passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the age of 15.

Angelina was born in Buffalo on November 21, 2002. A self-proclaimed diva, Angelina enjoyed getting dressed up always putting a complete outfit together from head to toe. She loved sports, especially football and NASCAR. Angelina attended several NY Jets games and camps and NASCAR races, collecting a variety of signed memorabilia for both sports. She loved dirty jokes and was always the first to laugh. Her smile could light up any room and despite her physical challenges, lived life to the fullest. Her family will always cherish times spent laughing, snuggling, and cuddling.

Angelina is survived by her mother, Theresa Dunbar; father, James Apgar; sister, Mariah Dunbar; brother, Nick Apgar; great grandmother, Gloria Mosher; grandmother, Pat Dunbar-Mosher; her Papa, Sipeoy Washington; aunts and uncle, Scott (Dawn) Dunbar, Mary (Gene) Woodford, Pitter (Daequan Elliott) Dunbar-Tun, Jackie Woodworth, Jill Linngar and Michelle Weber; and a large extended family including great aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Willard Mosher; grandfather, Buzz Dunbar; and grandmother, Donna Apgar.

The family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
