Charles R.  Warren

Charles R. Warren of Trumansburg passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the age of 88.

Charles was born in Ithaca on May 28, 1929 a son of the late Harry and Dora (Horton) Warren. He worked for NCR for 36 years before retiring. Charles was very proud of his land, and loved being a crop farmer. He could fix anything, but truly enjoyed working on watches and clocks. Charles was a member of the Cayutaville Methodist Church, Trumansburg Methodist Church, Trumansburg Seniors, and Trumansburg Masonic Lodge #157.

Charles is survived by his wife of 67 years, Janet Warren; daughter and son in law, Judy and Wayne Lauper; four grandchildren, Jamie Lauper, Marti-Jo (Randy) Russell, Tricia Warren, and Sammy Warren Jr.; and three great granddaughters, Jadyn, Morgan, and Emily. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a son, Sammy Warren in 2009.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Cayutaville United Methodist Church.
