Edward A. Rote

Edward A. Rote Sr. of Interlaken passed away at Robert Packer Hospital on Wednesday, January 7, 2014 at the age of 75.

Ed was born in Canton, Pennsylvania on August 11, 1939, a son of the late Charles and Edna (Myrick) Rote Sr. He worked on dairy farms in Ithaca and Stuart, Florida. Ed enjoyed his animals and loved watching NASCAR and especially enjoyed watching Dale Ernhardt Sr. and Dale Ernhardt Jr. race.

Ed is survived by four sons, Karl Kissinger, Thomas Rote, Scott Rote, and Edward Rote Jr.; three grandchildren, Zachary Austic, Xavier Rote, and Serenity Russ; two sisters, Debbie (Terry) Smith and Patricia Brunk; and several nieces. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Rote; and a brother, Charles Rote Jr.

A Memorial Celebration was held for family.
