Elsie Lucas

Elsie Lucas of Trumansburg passed away at home on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the age of 83.

Elsie was born in Stanford, Kentucky on October 8, 1934, a daughter of the late Lum and Mattie (Daugherty) Adams. She moved to Trumansburg in 1961 and began working as a housekeeper at Taughannock Farms Inn, retiring in 2005. Elsie enjoyed flower gardening.

Elsie is survived by two sons, Paul (Lena) Lucas and David (Rhonda) Godbey; two daughters, Diane (Corky) Sneed and Barbara (Steve) Liles; six grandchildren, Kevin Tillett, Jason Davis, Michael Davis, Amanda Stutz, Audry Godbey, and Travis Godbey; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lucas in 1999; a daughter, Donna Stutz; and an infant son, Larry.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg.
