Florence Clinton

Florence J. Clinton of Trumansburg, passed away at Cayuga Ridge on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the age of 96.

Born in Trumansburg on March 2, 1916, Florence was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Herrick) Jones. She worked for many years as a quality inspector at National Cash Register in Ithaca.

Florence is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (David) Allen of Trumansburg; two grandchildren, Michael (Elizabeth) Allen of Endicott and Susan Allen of Trumansburg; and five great grandchildren, Nigel, Matthew, Thea, Laura, and Miles. In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, W. Donald Clinton.

In keeping with Florence’s wishes, services will be private.
