Gregory Steven Mayo

Gregory Steven Mayo of Trumansburg passed away at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the age of 68.

Greg was born in Waterloo on April 17, 1954, a son of the late Richard and Lois (Baker) Mayo. He was employed as a union painter in Ithaca for many years. Greg loved staying busy especially outdoors, hunting, fishing, and tending to his chickens.

Greg is survived by his wife, Tonya Mayo; three sons, Gregory, Steven, and Garrett Mayo; a step son, Andrew McDonald; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Mayo; brother, Theodore Mayo; half sister, Janet Robberts; and half brother, Rickey Ike.

In keeping with Greg’s wishes there will be no services.
