Born on February 14, 1948, in Ithaca, New York he was the youngest of ten children born to Bert and Mary (Huff) Stewart. His career began with Agway in Ithaca and his expertise and commitment led him to positions at EE Miller and Son in Geneva, Beacon Milling, and Cargill in Horseheads. Throughout his career, Harold was highly respected by colleagues, farmers, and veterinarians alike, owing to his dedication in his field.
