Keith Stevenson passed away peacefully, at home, on Saturday, September 22nd.

Born April 7, 1943, Keith was the youngest child of Clinton and Jennie Stevenson. He grew up and lived his whole life on the family farm located on Pine Ridge Rd. Trumansburg, NY.

Keith graduated from Trumansburg Central School in 1961. During his high school years he was active and earned honors in Future Farmers of America and DeMolay. After high school, Keith and his friend Glenn Switzer drove his Corvette to Kansas City to attend airline training school, but finally he returned to the dairy farm and worked there for many years. Along with his mom, dad and brother Ted, Keith played a vital role in the success of the family farm.

In 1966 Keith married his first wife, Nancy and together they had 2 daughters.

Keith enjoyed sports, especially bowling, and his league averages were in the upper 180’s. In 1988 Keith joined the East Hill Flying Club and proudly earned his private pilot's license.

In 1990 Keith married Geri Amalfitano and they loved to ride his Gold Wing motorcycle. He started a new career with Schneider National Trucking, and for 12 years he traveled throughout 48 US states. In 2002 Keith earned his 1 Million Mile Safe Driver Award.

Keith was a founding member of the Area Chapter F of Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He served as area rep for 3 years and is still a member. He also has been a longtime active member of the Church of Epiphany in Trumansburg.

After retirement, Keith had time to enjoy his many hobbies, including collecting coins, cutting and selling firewood, woodworking, picking and selling berries, gardening, making pies, traveling, actively serving on the Vestry for his church, hauling grapes for a local vineyard, trading stocks and winning at the casino.

Keith is survived by his daughters Rebecca (Scott Goldsmith), Deirdre, grandchildren Alexia, Nicolas, Jackson and Alyse; brother Edward, sisters Marilyn Smith and Joyce Clark, sister-in-law Georgianna (Jim) Stevenson, first wife Nancy, many nieces and nephews, and dear friend, companion and partner-in-crime Alice Consolvo.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2017 at Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street in Trumansburg. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church of Ulysses.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross.or Church of the Epiphany.
