Lena Marie Senecal, 61, of Lansing, passed away peacefully at Cayuga Medical Center on October 26, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Lena was a woman of remarkable strength, resilience, and compassion. Throughout her life, she faced challenges with courage and determination, never allowing her own struggles to overshadow her love and concern for those around her. Even in her final days, Lena remained true to who she was, always worrying about the well-being of others before herself. Her selflessness, strength, and unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
Affectionately known as "Beana" to her grandchildren and close family members, Lena held a special place in the hearts of those closest to her. She cherished her family, and the love she shared with them will continue to live on through the memories they created together.
Lena is survived by her sons, Ethan (Caitlyn Seamster) Senecal and Jeramy (Emmilie Ouderk) Senecal; her beloved grandchildren, Hayden, Colson, and Callie; her mother, Cathy (Gary) Pai; and her sisters, Darleene (Ron) Weeks and Michelle (Rick) Stewart. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Abbra (Isiah) DeJesus, Mitchell (Taylor) Stewart, Zairien Weeks, and Jacob Clark. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel D. Clark, and her brother, Daniel H. Clark Jr.
While her battle with cancer has come to an end, the strength she demonstrated, the love she gave, and the lives she touched will remain her lasting legacy. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
In keeping with Lena's wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks those wishing to honor Lena's memory to consider making a donation to the Foundation for Women's Cancer, an organization dedicated to advancing research, education, and awareness of gynecologic cancers.
