Marcus Nathaniel Anthony Knight

Marcus Nathaniel Anthony Knight, age 17, of Trumansburg was a beacon of love and kindness. With a heart as expansive as the sky above, he brightened the lives of everyone who had the privilege to know him. Tragically, Marcus's journey was cut short when he passed away on September 29, 2025, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Marcus was born in Ithaca on November 13, 2007. He graduated from Charles O. Dickerson High School and completed the TST BOCES Auto Body Program, reaching this milestone in 2025. Marcus had a passion for the outdoors, especially for fishing — a hobby that allowed him to connect with nature. He loved his friends like family, creating close bonds that will be forever cherished by those he left behind.

He is survived by his mother, Robin Knight; father, Michael Knight; his siblings, Autumn Knight, Dominique (Jeremiah) Grossi, Kevin Knight, Dillon Grossi, Deja Knight, Taylor Rice, Keziah Elliott Dunbar, and Mason Elmore; grandparents, Jeff and Claire Combs; and countless friends whom Marcus embraced as family. Together, these loved ones will carry his vibrant spirit forward, forever holding him close in their hearts.

The family will be present to receive friends on October 5, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Diamond on Seneca, 3800 Ball Diamond Road, Hector, NY. A formal time of sharing will begin at 6:00pm at Diamond on Seneca. 

Though his time with us was far too brief, his spirit will live on in the laughter, love, and kindness that will continue to echo through his family and friends.
