Roger L. Millspaugh, 83, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on April 8, 1943, in Trumansburg, New York, where he was raised and was a member of the Trumansburg Class of 1961.
Roger enjoyed working for the family business, Millspaugh Brothers in Trumansburg, where he learned many trades and could fix just about anything while also running a small farm and meat shop. Later in life Roger moved to Florida, where he loved living, and enjoyed his passion for fishing and traveling to the Philippines many times with his wife, Chona. These experiences and the time spent with the people he loved brought him much happiness throughout his life.
Roger was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Gertrude Millspaugh; and his brothers, Jim and Fred.
He is survived by his wife, Chona, brother, Dale, and his sister, Brenda; his children, Dawn (Ed) Trapp, Denise Millspaugh Blass (Eric Kunze), and Scott Millspaugh; his grandchildren, Chad (Megan) Blass, Caleb (Lyndsay) Blass, Maranda (Spencer) Snee, Brandon Millspaugh, and Matthew Millspaugh; and his great-grandchildren, Jed Blass, Benjamin Snee, Cooper Blass, and Grayson Blass.
Roger will be remembered by his family and friends for the life he shared with them, and the many memories created along the way. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.
