Alan Clifford O'Donnell

Alan Clifford O’Donnell, age 59, passed away at Guthrie Cortland surrounded by family on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

Alan was born in Cortland on April 29, 1962, a son of the late Clifford and Beverly Pearl (Anderson) O’Donnell. He enjoyed woodworking and will be missed by family who lovingly nicknamed him “Punky.”

Alan is survived by his children, Jennifer O’Donnell and Joseph (Pota) O’Donnell; grandchildren, Payton Smith, Madison Wyant, Guliana, Melina, and Antonio O’Donnell; siblings, John (Cindy Paules) O’Donnell, Steve (Ann) O’Donnell, and Lori (Mike Jenny) Creque; former spouse, Patricia O’Donnell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his step father, Newt Beardsley.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Church of Blodgett Mills, 3333 Clute Road, Cortland.
