Beverly J. (Dean) Davis

Beverly J. Davis of Trumansburg passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the age of 88.

She was born in Reynoldsville on June 26, 1933, one of thirteen children to the late Earl and Lillian (Carrigan) Dean. Beverly was a long time bookkeeper in the Trumansburg area for many years. She and her late husband, Levi enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and attending country music jamborees where they would square dance together.  Later in life, she enjoyed playing bingo and going out and about with nieces, Lois and Lorie Mahoney and her great friend Carol. Most of all, Beverly loved spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and great granddaughters.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all of the nurses and aides that made it possible for Beverly to remain cared for in her home.                                                       

Beverly is survived by a daughter, Lee Ann (Mark) Sherman; two grandsons, Tyler (Alex Acuna) Sherman and Trevor (Erin) Sherman; two great granddaughters, Aurora and Autumn; siblings, Joel Dean and Lois Drake; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Davis; a son, Michael Davis; brothers, Wallace, Ralph, John, Donald, and Lloyd Dean; and sisters, Eloise Velie, Betty Lake, Phyllis Tuttle, Dorothy Royce, and Patricia Mahoney.

In keeping with Beverly’s wishes, burial will be private for family at a later date.
