Calvin Bailey Jr. Obituary

Calvin Everett Bailey Jr. of Trumansburg passed away peacefully at home on June 16, 2020 at the age of 87.

Calvin was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on December 24, 1932, a son of the late Calvin and Edna (Hubbell) Bailey Sr. He honorably served his country in both the United States Army and United States Marine Corps. Calvin worked at Ithaca Gun as a Unit Guard, chain assembler at Morse Chain, and as a custodian at Ithaca City School District. He was a member of the American Legion Post 770 in Trumansburg for many years. He was loved dearly by his family and will be deeply missed.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Jane Bailey; three sons, Calvin Bailey III, Leonard Bailey, and Terance (Kim) Bailey; daughter, Elaine (Dennis) Francis; 10 grandchildren, Calvin Bailey IV, Seth (Kenna) Bailey, Rebekah Francis, Joey Bailey, Jessica (Brian) Chapman, Jane (Shawn) Brown, Emily (Jeremy) Yann, Terance Bailey Jr., Mike (Samantha) Bailey, and Janelle (Aaron Simmons) Bailey; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Lois Atkins; and a brother, Lyle Bailey.

Burial will be held privately at Sampson Veteran❜s Memorial Cemetery.
