Jennevieve C. Savunen

Jennevieve Coral Savunen of Trumansburg passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the age of 19.

Jennevieve was born on September 8, 2003 in Elmira, a daughter to Jeffrey and Amy (Sexton) Savunen. She graduated from Charles O’ Dickerson High School in Trumansburg and worked as a sales associate at Agway in Ithaca, a job she loved and excelled at. An old soul at heart, Jennevieve enjoyed history and old houses, painting, and recently had taught herself to knit. She loved nature and the outdoors, biking, hiking, and her beloved animals.

Jennevieve is survived by her parents, Amy and Jeffrey Savunen; siblings, Chase and Eveliina Savunen; grandparents, Sandy and Robert States, Cindy Savunen, Darlene Shelley, and Keith Brooks; boyfriend, Cole Cramer and his parents, Jessica and Lee Head; aunts, Autumn Van OStrand and Torrie Savunen; uncles, Jesse and James Brooks; cousins, Dylan Leaderman, Cameron Manley, Ashley Valway, and Aires Yontz; and many special friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the First Baptist Church, 4443 East Seneca Road, Trumansburg.
