John Williams Obituary

John C. Williams of Trumansburg passed away at home with family by his side on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the age of 83.

John was born in Rochester on November 6, 1937, a son to the late David and Irene (Hutchings) Williams. For 45 years, he stayed with the company working as a service technician as it changed from Ma Bell to NY Telephone to NYNEX to Bell Atlantic to finally, Verizon. John will always be remembered as a family man and great patriot.

John is survived by two daughters, JoAnn (Ken) Carson and Judy (Jim) Russell; grandchildren, John Swanhart, James Russell Jr., Scott Williams, Jennifer Hoffman, and Rachel Carson; and two great grandchildren, Ava Swanhart and Jaxson Anderson.
