June H. (Egner) Raitto

June H. Raitto, age 93, formerly of Wheelwright and Paxton, Massachusetts passed away on December 14, 2021.  

June was born in Walpole, MA on October 5, 1928, a daughter to the late Henry and Marian (Marden) Egner. She graduated from Foxborough High School and was accepted and attended the University of Connecticut. Working side by side with her husband for many years, she was the office manager for Raitto Engineering in Wheelwright. June was a devoted and active member of Greenville Baptist Church in Rochdale and New Ipswich Congregational Church.

June is survived by three children, Diane (Peter) Wood of Trumansburg, NY; Richard (Kim) Raitto of Hubbardston, MA, and Jack (Melanie) Raitto of Hollis, NH; six grandchildren, Matthew (Elizabeth) Wood, Sarah (Erin Gore) Wood, Daniel (Stephanie) Raitto, Nathan (Kayla) Raitto, Caleb (Catherine) Raitto, and Andrew Raitto; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, David Raitto; and brother, Richard Egner.

A Celebration of June’s Life will be held at Greenville Baptist Church, 674 Pleasant Street, Rochdale, MA on January 7, 2022 at 2:00pm.
