June A. (nee Waiter) Smith

June A. Smith, age 75, passed away on February 4, 2023 at home in Interlaken, NY. Born on June 24, 1947 to the late Frank and Jeanette (nee Kimberley) Waiter in Lockport, NY.

June is survived by her children, Nina (Craig) Carpenter, Bonnie Smith, Kimberly (Doug) Bullivant and Charles Smith Jr; grandchildren, Richard Carpenter, Nicole Quirk, Anthony Bullivant, Ashley (Louis) Bullivant and Christopher Smith; great grandchildren, Owen and Aiden Jensen, Madison Taylor; sisters, Rosalie Moore and Laura Waiter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Smith in 2010; and three sisters, Cynthia Schrettenbrunner, Bonnie Skutt and Susan Burke.  

June had a love for all things hummingbird and wind chimes and gathered a large collection. She enjoyed Elvis and greatly loved spending time with her grandkids. She worked for 40 years in Ithaca at Lakeside Nursing and Oak Hill Manor.
