William "Brad" Connors

William “Brad” Connors of Enfield lost his battle with esophageal cancer on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the age of 69.

Brad was born in Denver, Colorado on June 20, 1953, a son of the late John and Ruth (Huffman) Connors. He graduated from Ithaca High School in 1971 and following graduation took a job at Borg Warner. Brad, who was known by his Borg Warner colleagues as Bill, remained with Borg Warner for 43 years, retiring as an engineer.

Brad valued old cars attending many local car shows and he rebuilt and restored several of his own classic cars. He enjoyed camping and had an unconditional love for his family. Brad was the problem solver for everyone and was both friends and family members go-to as he always seemed to have the answer for any issue.

His family would like to thank and acknowledge all of his doctors that have supported him throughout his diagnosis as well as his sister, Audrey who remained at his side day and night, and beloved friends and Pastors Jack Osborn and Mike Corriero who prayed over Brad his last days providing peace and comfort to Brad and his family.

Brad is survived by his daughters, Brandee (Kevin) Berggren and Barbara (Thomas) Dunham; several grandchildren; sister, Audrey Morgan; wife, Patricia Connors and her children, Kelly and Ryan Rathbun; and a niece, nephew, and several cousins. In addition to his parents, Brad was preceded in death by his first wife, Rhonda Connors; oldest daughter, Jessica; and his beloved therapy cat, Snickers, who just recently passed away from cancer.

The family will be present to receive friends from 10:00am to Noon on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg, NY. Burial will be held privately for family.
